The main focus of my blog is on Technical Analysis. Technical analysis is the study of historical price movement of a stock (or financial instruments in general) with the goal of predicting future price movements. It is rooted in the believe that the collective behavior of investors do not change over time.
Please note that technical analysis is only one of the many tools that investors use to trade stocks. At the other end of the scale, we have Fundamental Analysis – the study and evaluation of the true, underlying value of an asset (e.g. a company). I may, at times, point out the underlying fundamentals of a company, but such analysis would not be my focus. If you seriously want to get into that kind of stuff, you could either read analyst reports or better yet, go for a MBA!
